Soon everyone in the Grey Area was gone…. except for Demyx, he was still standing in the same spot that he was at when he saw Zexion, he felt 'heartbroken' Zexion was dying? No! he couldn't, he couldn't die! He…he just can't!
Demyx's feet suddenly stared moving he was walking like a zombie, then he sped up to a jog, then a run.
Demyx ran through the hallway, he knew exactly were he was going, Zexion's room.
Demyx had reached his goal he was standing outside of Zexion's bedroom door, he was about to enter , but the sound of Lexaeus's voice stopped him.
"Is Zexion really not going to make it? Vexen?"
"Sadly yes Lexaeus, he had taken a lot of damage, I am surprised that he has held on to life for this long…"
Demyx had his ear to the door, eye wide and teary.
He could not believe what he was hearing.
Now Demyx was terrified, he can't believe this, no matter how many times you will tell him he won't believe it.
Zexion will NOT die, Demyx would not allow it.
Suddenly Vexen started to speak again.
"Sigh, Lexaeus I think it's time to put Zexion out of his misery, can you please hand me the euthanasia?"
"NO!" Demyx shouted as he barged into Zexion's room to find Vexen about to inject Zexion's limp body with the euthanasia.
"NO, don't Vexen please, I can't… I won't let you kill him!" Demyx shouted with waterfall like tear streaming down his face.
Vexen and Lexaeus looked at each other for a short moment, Vexen nodded his head and Lexaeus made his way to Demyx, and held him back.
"I'm sorry Demyx, I wish I did not have to do this, but it is the only way to end Zexion's pain-"
"NO, I won't let you! Let me go Lex!"
Demyx screamed as he struggled to free himself from the large man's grasp, Lexaeus said nothing and did not release his hold on Demyx.
Vexen slowly made his way to Zexion's dying body, getting ready to inject the euthanasia, Demyx was screaming desperately trying to get free from his restraint, trying so desperately to stop Vexen, to save Zexion.
The injection was only a few centimeters from Zexion's arm, Demyx had to act quick and without thinking he turned his head and bit Lexaeus's arm, Lexaeus released his grasp on Demyx and  Dem took advantage on his opportunity, he rushed over to Vexen and pushed him out of the way and threw his own body on Zexion's, acting as a human shield
"I said NO!" Demyx shouted, his cheeks were soaked in his own tears.
The room was silent the only sound that could be hear was Demyx's combinational breathing of fear, sadness, anger and worry.
Vexen slowly looked at the shot that was in his, his eyes grew wide as he held the serenge up to his face.
It was empty.
Everyone's eyes grew wide, the room was dead silent. Until a noise generated from Zexion's body, he was beginning to fade away
"No…. no, no, no, Zexion!" Demyx screamed at the fading Nobody, more and more of Zexion's body was fading away into nothingness, Demyx did not know what to do he felt like he had to do SOMETHING though, otherwise he would never forgive himself, then suddenly he placed his lips on Zexion's, tears still streaming down his face and were landing on Zexion's, Vexen and Lexaeus's eye widened as they witnessed what was happing, Zexion's body…. It was no longer fading, no, instead it was regenerating! His wounds were disappearing, and his skin was gaining it original tone, Demyx was still kissing Zexion, he was still crying, but he did not see what was happing.
"I..impossible, how is he…?" Vexen mumbled to himself Demyx sadly released his kiss on Zexion, still thinking that he was dying he did not look at him, he did not want to see his dear friend fade away.
"D…Demyx, look." Lexaeus said slowly Demyx slowly started to raise his head and eyes slowly, his eyes widened and his head shot up he looked at Zexion in a mixed combination of surprise and shock.
Zexion's body was healed, completely healed, all of his wounds, all of the blood, it was gone! He looked as if nothing happened to him! Demyx touched Zexion's cheek, it was warm.
"Z…Zexy?" Demyx called out softly, the whole room was silent awaiting for a response, then slowly Zexion's eyes fluttered open, they looked sad yet not pain-filled like they use to be.
Zexion made a soft noise that sounded like he was saying 'where am I' but even I am not cretin.
"Zexion!" Demyx cried happily "Oh my gosh it's a miracle!".
